Trying to do what's right

Before I'm totally out for a few weeks, I want to make sure you all know about this amazing show I just came from. It's at MoAD (The Museum of African Diaspora) in San Francisco, called "Decoding Identity: I Do it for My People." It's about race, gender, identity, stereotypes, being American, immigration, fashion... It's really great, and my bet is that you haven't been to the museum yet. GO. This show is worth every penny. Over 20 artists present so many interesting interpretations of what makes identity, and in so many different and interesting ways. There's paint, sculpture, created objects, video, animation, clothing, puzzles... GO, GO, GO!

Oh, and I have a reception at the Abstract Photography show featuring "The End of the World" on Wednesday February 4 from 6-8pm. I am ecstatic about showing this piece and this show is going to be fantastic. Plus, how can you say no to free wine and snacks? It's at Polarity Post Productions, 69 Green Street. See you there (cast in hand)! :)
