Michael and I went on a hike on Tuesday.

Claremont Show

The Claremont Artisan Fair was great fun, and it was nice to meet so many folks. I had a good booth set up and enjoyed the experience. I'm looking forward to the next fair-type of show---not sure when that will be quite yet.

Wedding Cake

It turned out great, though I can't take all the credit. I could never have done it without Michael, who was by my side for the assembly and decorating of the cake. It looked great, and several guests asked me where my bakery was!! :)

Bayshore

This week is crazy for me, yet here I type. I'm making my step-sister's wedding cake (yes, I bake too) AND I will be participating in the Claremont Resort and Spa 9th Annual Artisan Fair on Sunday from 10-4pm. Free Admission, so come by!

Anyhow, the cakes are in the oven right now, and I'm building photos at a crazy pace getting ready for Sunday. I was out near my secondary photo printer, and had to go out to the bay to take a few shots of the sunset. Every so often I take some photos, hope for the best, and when I get home and see them I explode with joy. It's such a great feeling to be so happy with something you weren't sure would turn out. Anyhow, wanted to share a sneak peek at these, which will likely be called "Bridge, Waves and Sun" or something like that. Please share your thoughts about them in the comments area.

Herald and Proclamation

Now that my website is up (and I still have so much to do to finesse it!), I thought it would be fun to make a place where I record my day-to-day activites and prolix goings-on. :) More seriously, this will be a place to sneak a peek at upcoming photographs, get some insight into my process, and share my vision.
