Show Yourself

In 2009, I began a new project. After I had produced the SF Spikes Soccer calendar, I began to get requests for personal studio photographs. But I wanted to do more with this idea. I started asking my subjects to prepare for their shoots by gathering objects, clothing, props and other gear that illustrated their identity and to share that list with me. I gather my own set of contrasting or comparative objects and surprise them once we arrive at the studio. Together we find poses that both of us want to see.
I currently finishing a show featuring these images in a new, re-interpreted format: In the process of showing my models, I will also be showing myself as an artist.
